How Do You Join A Team???

I have tried everything I can think of to join a team and it wont let me! I am already a memeber and I dont want to pay my registration fee twice. Or have to get all my fundraised money again. Does anyone know how to do this, I checked all the FAQ's and everything, nothing so far has helped.
