Want tolearn how tosail?! Or already know how and just want to get out on the water? Drop in for an introductory sailing lesson benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation!
When: May 10 (mother's day) or May 24 between 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Just drop in between those times and sail for 30 minutes, 1 hour, or longer!
Where:MacSailing - Jericho Sailing Center, 1300 Discovery St., Vancouver
Fee: by donation only and all proceeds benefit the BC Cancer Foundation (recommended minimum is $15 for each 30 minutes).
Who: Friends, family, and the general public are welcome. ALL AGES can participate!
Each boat will have an experienced CYA sailing coach on board. This will be a great and inexpensive opportunity tolearntosail in a safe, fun, and informative environment...all the while helping the fight against cancer!
It also makes a great Mother's Day activity on May 10.
What to bring: Bring closed-toed shoes and warm clothes that can get wet. Also bring a change of clothes. Life jackets and wetsuits will be provided (but bring your own if you have it).
BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers will be on sale.
