I will be coming over from Victoria on Fri afternoon the 17th and returning on Sun afternoon/evening the 19th. Would like to split the cost of transport and minimize the environmental foot print.
Glad to hear that you are interested in shared travel. I do not have a definitive departure time yet but certainly plan on dropping my bike off on Friday well before the 7 PM lock down @ the race track. My accommodation is in Surrey @ the Guildford Hotel with check in not possible before 3 PM.
As for coming home on Sunday I hope to be on the first shuttle back to the starting point. Of course that is largely dependent on my ability to finish by 1 ish. [I'm not that fast on my hybrid and with 6 decades under my belt!!!!] Weather & good riding will make that possible.
Your living in the Oaklands area is no problem. I would be coming from the Vic West Y area.
